 العديد من المشاهير على مر العصور اشتهروا بامتهانهم لحرفة النجارة و اتخدوا منها مصدرا لقوت عيشهم 

سواء كانوا شخصيات تاريخية ودينية  مثل زكريا وعيسى و نوح عليهم السلام .او شخصيات من الفن كلارك هاريسون الممثل الامريكي اللذي اشتهر في سلسلة حرب النجوم أو ممثلين كحسن الجندي المشهور  بدوره في فيلم الرسالة  وعمر الشريف وغيرهم كثير .
